Kelly Rothnie - C/O Artistic Director

Kelly grew up in Brampton and started taking dance at age 3.  Kelly studied Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre and Tap for several years across Canada while attending the Mayfield S.S Dance Program. Kelly has completed her teacher’s examinations with the British Association of Teachers in Dance in both Jazz and Tap.  Kelly founded Dancercise in 2003 and grew the business from the ground up.  

 

Kelly has perfected her craft while training with several master teachers and holds a strong belief of bringing high quality training to students at Dancercise. Kelly continued her dance career by dancing at local studios and workshops and master classes. Kelly places a major emphasis on the choreographic experience and helps students perform at their fullest potential. In addition, many graduating dancers who trained under Miss Kelly have pursued careers as dance teachers and professional performers both locally and nationwide.

 

Not only is Kelly the founder of Dancercise, she is also a Business Development Manager at Impulse Technologies Ltd.  Kelly has been working with Impulse for over 23 years and is a leader in the Business development field. 

Kelly’s biggest goal is to pass on her passion and love for dance to each and every student.
