Marcia Allen

My Story

Prior to working at Dancercise she worked at Ballare, The City of Brampton, Kayla Scott School of Dance and Maxine’s School of Dance. Marcia Allen has been a teacher here at Dancercise since its inception where she has taught a variety of classes such as Tap, Jazz, Acro, Creative dance, Stretch and Strength, Socacise to name a few.

Marcia has been formerly trained at Maxine’s School of Dance where she studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre.  She also took her tap exams under the guidance of Ms Maxine. Ms Marcia completed and won many dance competitions in Canada and the United States.

Since graduating with her B.Ed she has been able to teach dance, drama and music, helping her students to develop their talent and love of the Arts. Marcia has taught as Dance Team Coach at Earnscliffe Senior Public School for 4 years and has been known to win awards for her choreography. 

Ms. Marcia has been teaching dance for over 30 now and enjoys every minute of it.  She has a passion for teaching and loves working with students of all ages. In the Summer of 2018, Dancercise announced the joint ownership of Kelly Rothnie and Marcia Allen as they celebrate the 15 year Anniversary.
